The Latin American Awards Australia needed to stop using Excel spreadsheets and emails to manage hundreds of nominations. The manual process was unsustainable: jury members lost among PDFs, nominees unaware of their application status, and the organising team drowning in repetitive tasks. Plus, everything had to work in English and Spanish.
I built a complete platform with Next.js and Supabase that covers the entire awards cycle. The public site receives nominations through dynamic forms, nominees have their own portal to complete information and upload documents, and the jury accesses a scoring system with custom criteria. The admin dashboard gives the team full control over every stage of the process.
The platform processes nominations automatically, with 49 pages of dynamic content in 2 languages and 12 award categories. Jury members evaluate everything online, eliminating weeks of manual coordination. The bilingual system works without friction.
